Paypal button issues

Hello everyone.

A few people have been experiencing problems making payments using the PayPal button on the homepage of our website. We are working with Paypal to fix the problem. It hasn’t affected everyone, but several people are getting error messages when they attempt to pay. In the meantime, you can go to https://www.paypal.com/us/home and search “Knollwood Homeowners Association”. Two selections will appear, “Knollwood Homeowners Association” and “Knollwood West Homeowners Association”. Please select “Knollwood Homeowners Association” DO NOT select “Knollwood West”. Please enter the $100.00 amount, as well as your name and address so we can properly document your payment for our records. You can always still write a check and mail it in. If the PayPal button is working and you do not receive an error message, you can make your payment that way and it will process appropriately. We apologize for the inconvenience.

St. Joseph County Comprehensive Plan open house

Hello Neighbors,

One of our St. Joseph County Planners, Faryal Sharif, has shared an invitation to a public open house meeting regarding the St. Joseph County Comprehensive Plan. The plan deals with economic development, housing and neighborhoods, quality of life and place, environmental stewardship, farm land preservation, government and policy, transportation, and utilities. All of these items will be discussed at the meetings on August 28th at two library locations. One meeting will be at the St. Joseph County Library Centre Township branch from 12-2pm. The other will be at the St. Joseph County Library Francis Branch from 5-7pm.

HOA Dues

Yes, it happened again with just zero’s. I’m going to spell it our for the mailing service, literally. Annual dues for the Knollwood HOA are ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Sorry everyone for all the confusion. I’m also taking a suggestion from one of our email recipients and trying a backslash in front of the number to see if that works. Here goes \$100.00

Street light update

For all of you that use the Barryknoll entrance off Gumwood, you’ve no doubt noticed the streetlight that’s out at the golf cart crossing between the 14th and 15th holes. This light has been out for a considerable amount of time.

I’m happy to report that Robert Henry Corp. crews are in the process of installing a new electrical line under ground from the transformer to the pole. I don’t know when the work will be finished, but hopefully the light will be operational soon.

As always, if you notice a street light out, please use the “contact us” tab on the home page and fill out the form to report a light that either isn’t working or works intermittently. Thank you.
